Description
Celebrate the Return of Fort Myers Beach Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks!
For the first time since Hurricane Ian, the Fort Myers Beach Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks are back, bringing festive cheer and community pride!

Parade

Join us in celebrating our nation's independence with the vibrant and lively Fort Myers Beach Fourth of July parade. Watch as colorful floats and costumed participants march down Estero Blvd., starting from Bay Oaks Recreation Center at 10 a.m. and continuing to Times Square. This cherished tradition is not to be missed!

Please note that Estero Blvd. will be closed from 9 a.m. until noon for the parade.

Interested in participating in the parade? Download an application here or contact Danielle BiBona, the Town of Fort Myers Beach Parks and Recreation Manager, at [email protected] for more details.

Fireworks

As the day turns to night, prepare for a spectacular fireworks display at Times Square, starting at approximately 9 p.m. Bring a beach chair and enjoy the breathtaking show as fireworks light up the sky. Be aware that the Matanzas Pass Bridge will be closed from 8:30 p.m. to approximately 11 p.m.

Fireworks Cruises

Experience the fireworks from a unique vantage point on the water with cruises offered by:

Adventures In Paradise
Day 5 Charters
Gypsea Tours
Sight Sea-R Cruises
Tiki Pub Fort Myers Beach
Tipsy Tiki FMB
Eat, Drink, and Be Merry

Fort Myers Beach offers a variety of food and drink options throughout the day, though some restaurants remain closed. Check this list for open establishments. For those looking to enjoy live music, a list of venues is available here.

Parking

Consider taking the Beach Trolley to Fort Myers Beach for a hassle-free Independence Day celebration! Paid parking is available in the Times Square area, and you can also park at one of the Town’s beach accesses, though they are in varying states of repair post-Hurricane Ian.

Private Fireworks Displays Are Prohibited

The Town Council reminds everyone that personal fireworks are illegal on the beach and throughout the Town, despite Florida's more lenient state regulations. Fireworks pose a significant fire hazard and are harmful to the diverse natural resources in the beach environment. Please adhere to the Town’s ordinance on fireworks to help protect our community.

Celebrate responsibly and enjoy the return of the Fort Myers Beach Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks!
