Trusting God in the Busy Seasons: An Introduction to My Journey

Life as a full-time working mom is a whirlwind. Add in raising teenagers, keeping up with schedules, and trying to maintain a household, and it can feel like there’s never enough time in the day. If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably asked yourself, How do I keep up? How do I stay present for my family while also doing what God has called me to do?

For years, I’ve wrestled with these questions. Some days, I feel like I’m doing okay. Other days, I feel like I’m failing—missing a school deadline, forgetting to switch the laundry (again), or struggling to have a meaningful conversation with my kids in between work emails and sports practices. But through it all, I’ve learned one crucial truth: I can’t do it alone.

How to Seek His Guidance When Life Feels Overwhelming

When life feels like too much to handle, the best thing we can do is turn to God. Prayer, reading His Word, and seeking wise counsel help us gain clarity and strength. Sometimes, His guidance comes in unexpected ways—a word from a friend, a verse that speaks directly to our hearts, or a moment of peace amid the chaos. The key is to slow down and listen. Even when life is noisy, God is speaking.

This blog is my way of inviting you into my journey—a journey of faith, motherhood, and trusting God in the unknown. I don’t have all the answers, but I do know this: God is faithful, even when life feels overwhelming. If you’re juggling a million things and wondering if you’re doing any of them well, you’re not alone. Let’s walk this path together, leaning on His strength instead of our own.

Each week, I’ll be sharing thoughts, struggles, and encouragement from my heart to yours. I pray this space will remind you that you are not alone in this season and that God is walking with you every step of the way.

Verse of the Week:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28
