Celebrate Independence Day in style at the annual Downtown Fort Myers Freedom Fest, a vibrant, family-friendly event guaranteed to create unforgettable memories. Hosted by The River District Alliance in collaboration with Caloosa Sound Amphitheater and The City of Fort Myers, this year's festivities promise to be bigger and better than ever.

Event Highlights:

Live Music and Entertainment: The evening kicks off at 6 PM with a heartfelt tribute to Southwest Florida Veterans, followed by a Star-Spangled Salute featuring The Venice Symphony Jazz Band Orchestra. Under the expert direction of Musical Director Peter Barenbregge, this 17-piece orchestra will fill the air with patriotic favorites, setting the perfect mood for the evening.

Delicious Food and Beverages: Savor a variety of delectable offerings from numerous food vendors scattered throughout the event. Bars will also be onsite, offering a selection of beverages to quench your thirst as you enjoy the festivities.

Family-Friendly Activities: There's something for everyone at Freedom Fest! Engage in a range of activities designed for all ages, ensuring that the entire family can partake in the fun.

Spectacular Fireworks Show: As the clock strikes 9 PM, prepare to be dazzled by a breathtaking fireworks display over the picturesque Caloosahatchee River. The vibrant explosions of color will light up the night sky, providing a perfect finale to an incredible evening.

General Admission and VIP Options:

General Admission: This event is free to the public and does not require a ticket. However, seating is not provided, so be sure to bring a foldable lawn chair or blanket for your comfort.

VIP Tickets: For a more exclusive experience, consider purchasing VIP tickets. This package includes an unassigned chair in the VIP section with a prime view of the performance and fireworks, an American BBQ buffet, access to air-conditioned restrooms in the Caloosa Sound Convention Center, a private cash bar, and the option to add on parking. Please note that all VIP tickets are final sale with no refunds.
